Attendance Swipe Over ride#
Attendance Swipe Over ride is normally used when an employee has forgotten to swipe, or swiped in late / swiped out early, an error in the server and Swipe is not recorded, etc.
The over ride option is enabled for the Managers / Team leads based on the hierarchy assigned in the Organization Tree.
Multiple over rides for a particular swipe is allowed in the application. However, only the last over ride time will be considered for processing. The attendance will have to be manually processed after over ride is done for a given date / set of dates.
Steps to set Swipe Over ride feature for Managers
- From the homepage go to System > User Admin > User Roles
- Select the required Role (for example : Admin)
- Select Attendance under the Category
- Tick the check box next to Attendance Swipe Over ride and click Save.
Steps to over ride employee swipe
- Login as a Manager. From the homepage go to Info > Attendance > Team Info
- Select the desired employee and from and to date and click on Show
- The complete swipe details of the selected employee will be displayed
- Click on the Swipe that needs over ride. The Swipe Date is the link to go to the swipe details. (example 01 Jul 2011)
- Go to Override details tab, fill out the first in or last out time and remarks field and click on over ride button.
- This will confirm the over ride done for the given swipe.
