How do I check the Income Tax Slab for 2010-11?#

1. Tax Slab is available under System --> Payroll Configure --> Income Tax Options

• Make sure Financial Year is selected as 2010
• Click on the Tax Slab item, tax slab for 2010 will be loaded

2. The tax slab for 2010-11 is given below

Income tax slab (in Rs.)	Tax
0 to 1,60,000	0
1,60,001 to 5,00,000	10
5,00,001 to 8,00,000	20
Above 8,00,000	30

3. For women slab please check under System --> Payroll Configure --> Income Tax Options select the Section as General and search for Tax Exemption itemname. This option should have the value as 3000

4. For Senior citizen slab please check under System --> Payroll Configure --> Income Tax Options select the Section as General and search for Tax Exemption For Senior Citizen item name. This option should have the value as 8000
