How to release IT declaration for Employees?#

1. Click on Payroll > IT declaration release to open IT declaration release screen
   
   
2. Select the payroll month for which employees have declare IT savings
   
   
   
   
3. Select "Locked" from status drop down
4. All the employees for whom IT declaration is locked will be listed
5. Red cross mark indicates IT declaration is locked
6. Select the employees for whom IT declaration has to be released
7. Use "All employees" option to select all employees
8. Click on "Release for declaration"
9. An alert message would be displayed if you have not selected all employees
   
   
   
   

How to lock IT declaration?#

1. Click on Payroll > IT declaration release
   
   
2. Select "Released" from status drop down
   
   
   
   
3. All the employees for whom IT declaration is released will be listed
4. Green tick mark indicates IT declaration is released
5. Select the employees for whom IT declaration has to be locked
6. Use "All employees" option to select all employees
7. Click on "Lock"
8. An alert message would be displayed if you have not selected all employees
   
   

How to consider IT savings declared by employees for Income tax calculation?#

1. Click on Employee >> Salary information
   
   
   
   
2. Go to Employee IT declaration tab
   
   
   
   
3. Click on 'Fetch'
   
   
4. Latest list of employees who have declared IT savings in current payroll month will be displayed
5. Select the employees for whom IT savings has to be considered
6. Check if employees are there only in one page or multiple pages
7. Use "Export to excel" option to get details in excel sheet for verification
8. Click on "Consider for Income Tax"
9. Alert message would be displayed if all employees are not selected
   
   

Note: 1. System will not consider for income tax if IT declaration is not locked for all employees
2. Payroll has to be processed after considering for Income tax. Otherwise latest IT savings data will not be considered for IT calculation
