Leave Calendar#
This calendar displays the leaves availed by all the employees which helps employees as well as the manager to plan their leave well in advance. The leaves will be displayed based on the filters set for Transition type such as : Company, Designation, Cost Center, Department etc., and the Leave Transaction such as : "Availed", "Availed & Applied".
This feature is option based and has to be enabled under Preferences.
Steps to set the Leave calendar option:
- Go Systems > Preferences and select Leave Options
- From the drop down, select options:
- Leave transactions to show : Select the desired transaction to appear in the calendar.
- Category to Filter the employees: This option will display the leaves from the selected category. If you require to view the leaves of all the employees, select Company.
- Leave Calendar Shortlist: This will shortlist the leave based on the selection. If selected Organization tree than the display will be restricted to a particular team / group, i.e a Manager / Team member will be able to view the leaves of only their group. But when selected Transition Based the employees will be able to view the leaves of all the employees in the company.
- Check the box next to Hide Leave Type in Leave Calendar Details in case you do not want to show the leave type.
- Click on Apply to save the settings.

- Log in as Admin, go to Employee > Leave > Leave Summary.
- Go to Leave Calendar tab and select the required filters.
- The details of the leave for a given day, can be seen when clicked on the number in the blue colored block.

The process is similar to the admin view. But the leave display will depend on the options set under Leave Calendar Shortlist.
- From the home page go to Leave > Leave Calendar tab and select the required filters.
