Password Expiry Reminder in Employee login#
As a part of any organization’s password policy, the employee login password will have an expiry period after which a new password will have to be chosen. This option is set by the admin under application preferences. A reminder will be triggered as a pop-up message on the employee’s login page from the stipulated date of “reminder days”. These reminder days will have to be continuous days and cannot be an “alternate day”.
For example : If the password expiry limit is set as 30 days and expiry reminder days as 8, the employee will get pop-up messages from the 22nd day till 30th day.
Steps:
- From the home page go to System > Preferences > Password > User
- Choose the “Password Expiry Limit” and “Expiry reminder days” and click on Apply. This will save the changes.
