How to generate and send password to employees?
There are two ways in which you can send password to an employee
- Send password
- Go to Employee >> Employee passwords >> Send password
- Here employees for whom password is not generated will be listed.
- Select employees for whom password has to be sent
- Click on “Email password”
- A mail will be sent to employee/s with URL, user name and password
- Generate password
- Go to Employee >> Employee passwords >> Generate password
- Search employee for whom password has to be generated
- Click on “Next”
- Click on “Send password by email”
- A mail will be sent to the employee with user name and password
Difference between send password and generate password
- 'Send password' has to be used for new joinees. Employees name will not appear in this screen if password is generated once.
- If 'Send password' is used, mail sent to the employee will have Welcome text and URL also along with user name and password.
- If 'Generate password' is used, mail sent to the employee will not have Welcome text and URL.
