How do I update employee information?#

When a new employee joins an organization, you need to update the various bits of information for that employee like date of birth, PAN No, etc. Or, there will be times when the information needs to be modified like when an employee changes their residence the address information changes.

Updating employee information is very easy in Greytip Online. Here is how to update the information:

  1. Click the Employee > Employee Information menu item to open the Employee Information Page.
  2. Locate the employee whose information needs to be updated. This can be done in two ways.
    1. Browse the employee from the Employee Directory and click on the name to select the employee.
    2. Type a portion of the name or employee number of the employee in the employee search box.
  3. Select an information category that you wish to modify from the left pane.
  4. A new tab is opened for the selected information category (or refreshed if it is already open).
  5. Click on Edit button to edit the information.
  6. Modify the information and click the Save button to update the information.
The above steps apply for almost all the information categories.
